A flock of "angels" rose above St. Georges Tce on Saturday night as part of Perth's Art Festival opening night. They did daring acrobatics providing an aerial arts display as they climb ropes and swing 100m up in the air.
The group of aerial artists are from France’s "Les Studios de Cirque" and did an amazing job performing for hundreds of people that filled the terrace.
What was more amazing apart from their actual act and ability to dangle in the air and do back flips and what not is their amazing costumes and of course the magical release of thousands of feathers.
There was one where two of them had a pillow fight - very entertaining to see! and angels releasing tails of feathers behind them.
It was truely a magical sight to see feathers float and drift down from the skies.
I regret not bring my DSLR but I was out with the girls that night and I really was not going to be lugging my nikon around. So alas the photos from my humble iphone will do.
That white stuff my friends is NOT noise from the photo nor is it dust on my phone lens but thousands of feathers falling from the sky!
After seeing a fantastic and almost magical show to complete the night we had a bottle of red to share between us, three girls and giggles of laughter. Alas a perfect Saturday girls night out.
