two girls... one guy... a beamer.. and shoes in our sand... part 2!

One of the best things about Perth is the weather and the nice beautiful clear water.. and of course beautiful beaches with white soft sand.. especially up north...

Autumn has been beautiful, sunny, but with a cool breeze, hinting that it isn't summer. It's oh so perfect.

It's especially perfect when you get to just sit on the soft white sand, take in the smell of salt and the ocean, gaze out at the calm ocean and appreciate everything you have. Eat homemade chicken and mayo sandwiches with your friends, laugh, talk, and realise that life isn't all about work and money, after all, what's money if you can't enjoy moments of idleness? of perfection? of doing nothing but relaxing? without laughter? God did we laugh.

Unforunately, we couldn't sit at the beach - wasn't made for it, so we decided instead of sitting on the lawn without any views of the ocean, we rather drive 10-20mins to Ledgepoint to have lunch instead.

S climbing more dunes... because the sand is sooo soft and white!

After playing in the sand and walking around Ledgepoint, we made our way to Moore River.. Where the river meets the Indian Ocean.. I'm so glad they revamp the place, it's so much more accessible and neater

That ended our adventures up North, before heading our way down to Perth, where we had to overtake 3 cars in a row because of some stupid drivers holding everyone up.. we ended up overtaking just before a bend.. which we discovered there was on-coming traffic.. which happened to be trucks.. so we were lucky that we just got back onto our side of the road!

Got to love roadtrips.

Of course, seeing as it is us.. we didn't call it a day when we reached "traffic" light zone.. we went to Hillaries to Hippos Creek where we dined on Crocodiles, Chicken and Cow.
Discovered someone was engaged.
Sort of saw the pretty colours of sunset.
Froze outside in the cold.
But went home very happy and tired.
